The Minister for Environment has provided the following response.
On 14 July 2016, the Department of Parks and Wildlife offered the Member a briefing to enable her to ask any questions in relation to the project. The Member has yet to accept that offer.
(1) Yes.
(2) I refer the Member to the answer to Question on Notice 4170. In addition the following payments were made – City of Bunbury $32,282.34 for clearing to facilitate site investigations and T&V Fencing Contractors $3120 for fencing removal.
(3) No.
(4) The 2015-16 State Budget allocation was $1,250,000 for 2015-16, $14,030,000 for 2016-17 and $2,720,000 for 2017-18.
(5) I refer the Member to the answer to question 4170. In addition the following payments were made – Acorpp Pty Ltd $9,309.55 for economic modelling, Department of Finance $232,000 for project administration and contract payments, Mark Jarvinen $1,900 for project illustrations, Optima Press Pty Ltd for printing and Western Power $6,212.73 for power supply design work.
(6)(a)-(b) Funding expended in 2015-16 will be recouped from the Royalties for Regions Fund.
