There is dialysis care available from the Northam Health Campus, the Albany Health Campus and in Perth. Dialysis units generally serve surrounding communities, and dialysis can be undertaken at home where clinically appropriate. WA Country Health Service continues to closely monitor and respond to demand for regional dialysis.
(e)
In the Great Southern, 43 patients require dialysis, 18 of which are undertaking home based dialysis.
In the Wheatbelt, 37 patients require dialysis, 17 of which are undertaking home based dialysis.
