(1) I refer to the Minister’s joint Media Statement with the Premier dated Sunday, 21 June 2020. The media release states that the new Metronet stations are expected to have the following number of daily boardings by 2031 and will be outfitted with the following number of parking bays. I have provided the ratio of parking bays per boarding this equates to. METRONET Station est. Passenger Boardings by 2031 Number of Parking Bays Ratio of people to available parking bays Ellenbrook Station is expecting to have 8,016 passengers boarding daily by 2031, with 500 Parking Bays available. This equates to a ratio of 16.0 passengers : 1 parking bay Whiteman Park Station is expecting to have 3,795 passengers boarding daily by 2031, with 900 Parking Bays available. This equates to a ratio of 4.2 : 1 Malaga Station is expecting to have 3,084 passengers boarding daily by 2031, with 1,100 Parking Bays available. This equates to a ratio of 2.8 : 1 Noranda Station is expecting to have 1,810 passengers boarding daily by 2031, with 400 Parking Bays available. This equates to a ratio of 4.5 : 1 Morley Station is expecting to have 1,365 passengers boarding daily by 2031, with 400 Parking Bays available. This equates to a ratio of 3.4 : 1 and I ask, why has the Government planned for what will clearly be an insufficient amount of parking for an outlying suburb and end of the line station such as Ellenbrook ? (2) Can the Minister please tell advise how many parking bays are available to passengers at each of the following stations: (a) Bulter; (b) Clarkson; (c) Currambine; (d) Joondalup; (e) Fremantle; (f) Armadale; (g) Thornlie; (h) Midland; and (i) Mandurah? (3) Can the Minister please advise how many parking bays are planned for each of the stations on the new Forrestfield line and how many passengers are expected to be boarding daily at each of those stations by 2031?

(1) Ellenbrook Station has been designed to suit its location in a planned high density community and Town Centre. Through planning and engagement with key stakeholders it was agreed priority would be given to walking, cycling and high frequency feeder bus connections. Provision of a multi-storey car park may be considered in the medium to long term, subject to demand and broader planning outcomes.
