I refer to your request to the Director General of Health to arrange for the preparation of a report into cancer services and I ask: (a) did you meet with the Director General of Health in September 2015: (i) If yes, on what dates did you meet the Director General; and (ii) at which of these meetings did you discuss the progress of this report into cancer services that you had requested?

(a) Yes.
(i) I have a regular scheduled meeting with the Director General and Senior Health Executives on a fortnightly basis. These meetings occurred on 2, 16 and 30 September. In addition the Director General attended other meetings in my office on 1, 7, 9, 15 and 21 September.
(ii) 30 September 2015.
It should be noted that I speak to the Director General on the telephone on a frequent basis and this report was regularly raised in general discussion and informally at other meetings.
