I refer to recent media reports highlighting serious issues with Government Regional Officer Housing (GROH), including teachers living in caravan parks and motels due to shortages, unsafe accommodation, and unresolved maintenance concerns, and I ask: (a) how many maintenance requests were lodged for GROH properties in the 2024-25 financial year; (b) during the 2024-25 financial year, how many essential workers, including teachers, nurses, and police officers, were required to stay in non-standard accommodation such as hotels or caravan parks due to GROH housing not being available; and (c) what was the total cost in the 2024-25 financial year of accommodating essential workers in such non-standard housing?
