Will the minister advise why referral of the police decision to withdraw charges against Joe McDonald to the Corruption and Crime Commission precludes the minister from giving information and answers on that matter to Parliament? The Minister for Police and Emergency Services has supplied the following answer - This matter has been referred by the Commissioner of Police to the Corruption and Crime Commission for investigation. Therefore, the Western Australia Police is not in a position to respond to these questions at this time.
