384. Hon SAMANTHA ROWE to the Minister for Commerce:
I refer to the industry, science and innovation division of
the Department of Commerce. For this division, in each of the 2010–11,
2011–12 and 2012–13 financial years, what was the —
(1) annual operating budget;
(2) total number of full-time equivalent staff;
(3) number of FTEs working in each of the industry, science
and innovation sections; and
(4) total headcount of employees?

operating budget for the industry, science and innovation division was: 2010–11,
$13 360 000; 2011–12, $14 835 289; and 2012–13, $15 881 736.
(2) The total
number of full-time equivalent staff for the industry, science and innovation
division was: 2010–11, 73.9 FTE at 16 June 2011; 2011–12, 85.9
FTE at 18 June 2012; and, 2012–13, 74.2 FTE at 20 June 2013.
(3) The number
of FTEs working in each of the industry, science and innovation sections was:
2010–11, executive, two FTE, innovative industries, 38.4 FTE, policy,
risk and program management, 33.5 FTE; 2011–12, executive, one FTE,
innovative industries, 45.4 FTE, policy, risk and program management, 39.5 FTE;
2012–13, executive, two FTE, innovative industries, 38.4 FTE,
innovative science, 33.8 FTE.
(4) The total
headcount of employees for the industry, science and innovation division was:
2010–11, 75 at l6 June 2011; 2011–l2, 93 at l8 June 2012; 2012–13,
80 at 20 June 2013.
