I refer to admissions for each South West hospital and ask, for each of 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014: (a) what were the total number of same day admissions for each of the following categories: (i) childbirth; (ii) medical (emergency); (iii) medical (other); (iv) specialist mental health; (v) surgical (emergency); and (vi) surgical (other); (b) for each category in (a), what were the total number of overnight admissions; (c) for each category in (a), what were the total number of admissions discharged on the same day; (d) what was the average length of stay in overnight admissions in the following categories: (i) acute care; (ii) rehabilitation; (iii) palliative care; and (iv) other sub acute and non acute care; and (e) how many overnight admissions were aged 65 and over?
