(4) No campus is expected to close.
It is too early to determine whether any State Training Provider campus will reduce in size and number of courses as a result of the rollout of the Future Skills WA initiative.
(5) Course offerings at campuses vary from year to year due to a range of factors including changing industry need, student demand, lecturer availability, alterations in infrastructure, delivery mode, accreditation status and regular curriculum updates.
At the campus level 70 qualifications, or equivalent qualifications offered in 2013 are not being offered in 2014 by STPs.
This total includes double counting of qualifications as the same qualification may have ceased to be offered across more than one campus.
39 qualifications, excluding equivalent qualifications, are being offered in 2014 that were not offered in 2013.
[See tabled paper no] for these qualifications listed by State Training Provider and campus.
Due to the flexible nature of vocational education, and based on the reasons listed above, it cannot yet be determined whether or not some training courses offered will run in 2014.
(6) [See tabled paper no].
