The complaints handling function now rests with newly created Professional Standards and Conduct Division. This Division consists of two Directorates - the Audit and Risk Management Directorate and the Standards and Integrity Directorate. The Professional Conduct and Standards Division was not established under the supervision of Justice Neville Owen as this was not part of his role. (1) Eleven temporary appointments have been made to the Standards and Integrity Directorate, but no permanent appointments have been made. (2) Yes, two. (3) 11 FTE currently working in the Standards and Integrity Directorate. (4) Staff have on average 16.3 years of experience in public sector agencies. A majority of staff have qualifications, including master's degrees, bachelor degrees, post graduate diplomas and certificates and certificates II and III. These qualifications are in the areas of Psychology, Arts, Public Sector Management, Administration and Education. (5) The majority of staff have an extensive range of experiences in complaints management in other public sector agencies, including the Office of the Public Sector Standards Commissioner, DOCEP and WA Police, and in other areas of DET, including District Office and Human Resources. (6) Ten temporary appointments have been made.
