I refer to the number of psychologist full time equivalents (FTEs) allocated to South West (SW) Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), noting that at June 2010 two psychologist FTEs were allocated, however this was subsequently cut back to one only, and ask —
(1) When did this occur and what was the reason for this cut, especially in light of the workload, wait times and the SW CAMHS business case calling for urgent additional resourcing?
(2) As at 1 September 2012, how many psychologists FTEs were allocated to SW CAMHS?

(1) There is 1 FTE dedicated Clinical Psychologist allocated to South West Mental Health Service. There are a number of generic positions within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service team that can be filled by a psychologist, social worker, nurse or occupational therapist. This is why the number of specific professions may have fluctuated over the past two years.
(2) 1 FTE dedicated Clinical Psychologist.
