I refer to the 2005 release of notorious sex offender and convicted paedophile Robert Excell who was sentenced to remain in prison at the Governor’s pleasure. (1) Why did the Premier approve the Executive Council minute enabling the release of Robert Excell from a Governor’s pleasure sentence so that he was free to travel to the United Kingdom? (2) What are the names of the other ministers who also signed the documentation enabling Excell to be free? I have given some notice of this question. Dr G.I. GALLOP
