I refer to question on notice No. 2724, and ask that the following question be answered in the same format as previously provided: (a) what were the fare paying boardings in 2011-12, in each zone, for SmartRider and cash fares for each of the following: (i) metropolitan train services; (ii) regional train services; (iii) metropolitan bus services; (iv) regional/town bus services; and (v) ferry services?

All other regional intra-town services operate within one zone which includes Broome, Carnarvon, Collie, Esperance, Karratha, Kununurra, Manjimup and Narrogin.
The SmartRider system is used in the larger towns of Albany, Bunbury, Busselton, Dunsborough, Geraldton and Kalgoorlie. The other smaller towns still use the MultiRider ticketing system.
