WA Health—IT procurement
347. Hon Tjorn Sibma to
the parliamentary secretary representing the Minister
for Health:
I refer to the
minister's answer yesterday to my fourth question regarding the procurement and
implementation of the HR Management Information System (HRMIS) across WA
Health.
(1) I note that:
Briefings on all major programs
across WA Health are provided to the minister by the department on a regular
basis.
Did the minister's answer attempt to infer that she
has received briefings concerning the HRMIS project?
(2) If yes to (1), how regularly has the minister been
briefed on the HRMIS project and on which dates?
(3) In what format was this briefing material
provided to the minister and what substantive issues were canvassed in those
briefings?
(4) What view or views did the minister form after
those briefings concerning the timeliness and cost of the HRMIS project?

I thank the
honourable member for some notice of the question. The following has been
provided by the Minister for Health.
(1)–(4) The department has provided
briefings on HRMIS to the minister in a variety of formats as is ordinary
practice for briefings on significant programs or projects.
