EXTINCTION REBELLION —
SOLIDARITY PARK OCCUPATION
78. Hon SIMON O'BRIEN to the minister representing
the Minister for Lands:
Further to the minister's
answer to my question of 13 February about the land on the corner of Parliament
Place and Harvest Terrace, commonly referred to as Solidarity Park, I now ask
the following.
(1) What are the boundaries of this
class A reserve?
(2) Do the
various controls and regulations of the City of Perth, including those related
to camping, sanitation and display of signage, apply to this land?
(3) Will the minister please table
a copy of the management order?

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
(1) There is a tabled paper with
the boundaries, so I will table that.
(2) Yes. The
management body advised Extinction Rebellion of the requirement to obtain the
approval of the City of Perth and comply with all relevant controls and
regulations.
(3) I table the attached document.
