I thank the honourable
member for some notice of the question.
(1) The number is 287
334.
(2) It is four per cent. The projections are
current as at 18 October 2013 and have been rounded to the nearest 100 students.
Projections include full-time students in preprimary to year 12 and
kindergarten students, including those at community kindergartens. They are
based on the Department of Education system performance projection model,
incorporating data from the 2013 semester 2 student census. The 2014 semester 1
projection above is based on historical enrolment figures and trends and
Australian Bureau of Statistics population projections. Such projections are
used for broad planning purposes. Actual enrolments in 2014 will differ from
this prosecution.
