solar feed-in tariff scheme
I refer to the solar feed-in tariff scheme announced by the Premier prior to the election. (1) How much money has been committed to the scheme, and over what period is the scheme to operate? (2) What progress has been made towards establishing the scheme? (3) If the scheme is fully subscribed prior to its scheduled completion, will the government — (a) extend the scheme to meet the increased demand; or (b) review the funding model to use market-based mechanisms such as the highly successful German feed-in tariff to encourage long-term investment in the renewable energy industry? Hon PETER COLLIER
