DEVELOPMENT FRAMEWORK
246. Mr R.S. LOVE to the Minister for Regional Development:
I have a supplementary question.

I stand up for the people of
regional Western Australia. Everywhere I go in regional WA, people talk to me
about their aspirations and hopes. There is a sense of positivity in regional
WA that I never hear from members opposite. I
suggest that the member learns how to read the Budget statements . He should spend a couple of hours going through previous Budget statements and looking at the record of this government
and its achievements, the record of the ministers who make up our cabinet and
the tremendous gains that we have made for regional WA. I contrast that with
some of the flowerbeds and tulip gardens that the National Party invested in
during its eight years in office.
