(1) (a) Staff; Training and Development Policy.
(b) Customers; The Substantive Equality Policy Framework which addresses this issue through providing appropriate assistance based on customer needs.
(2) As above.
(3) No funding is directly apportioned to dyslexia, however the Department funds the Equal Employment Opportunity Management Plan, Disability Access and Inclusion Plan and Substantive Equality Framework.
(4) The Human Resources Branch.

Mid West Development Commission
(1) - (4) The Mid West Development Commission (MWDC) does not have specific policies and procedures aimed at providing assistance for adults who are unable to read and write at the level they should.
However, the MWDC's Disability Access and Inclusion Plan has provision to assist people with disabilities by making available information and advice in alternative forms eg Braille.
MWDC has also provided assistance through its broader effort to ensure that education and training services in the Mid West are at the best levels possible.
Wheatbelt Development Commission
(1) The Wheatbelt Development Commission (WDC) has a Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP) which is available on our website;

This document is available on request in alternative formats including electronic format; standard and large print hard copy; audio format on cassette or compact disc; by email and on the website.
By making information available to people with disabilities on audio cassette, this will provide assistance for adults who are unable to read and write at the level they should.
The WDC does not have, as part of its charter, any responsibility for education and training.
