CORONAVIRUS —
INTRASTATE TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS
223. Ms M.J. DAVIES to the Minister for Police:
I
have a supplementary question. I thank the minister. That certainly clarifies
some of the information that our offices have been receiving. Is a frequently
asked questions information document being contemplated by WA police or
government to be published to assist in clarifying some of the things we are
regularly being asked?

AnswerView source ↗

I will effectively take that request
on notice. I am very mindful of police and government capacity at the moment. If it is within our capacity to do that without
taking people off the front line and potentially more urgent or important tasks, we will certainly do that. In normal circumstances, I would not
hesitate; I would say, ''Sure, we can do that.'' I know the
pressures that police officers and other police staff are currently under.
Although the member's suggestion makes sense, and, yes, we would like
to do it, it will be a matter of practicality and priorities for the Western Australia
Police Force.
