For each department, agency and government trading enterprise within the Minister's portfolio of responsibilities, I ask in regard to the registration of the receipt of all gifts, benefits, hospitality, accommodation and travel by officers: (a) what was the nature of the gift, benefit, hospitality, accommodation or travel received; (b) what was the date of receipt of each gift, benefit, hospitality, accommodation or travel; (c) what is the name of the individual, organisation or private company that offered the gift, benefit, hospitality, accommodation or travel; (d) what is the estimated individual value of gift, benefit, hospitality, accommodation or travel; and (e) does the organisation have any commercial or financial relationship with the individual, organisation or private company that offered the gift, benefit, hospitality, accommodation or travel and if so, what is the nature of that commercial or financial relationship?

Office of Multicultural Interests
The Office of Multicultural Interests is a division of the Department of Local Government and Communities and has clear guidelines around the receipt by staff of gifts or benefits. The Department's Code of Conduct requires all staff to declare the receipt of any gift, benefit or hospitality; a record of which is then stored in the Department's Gift Register.
