Everywhere I go I hear people in the industry say that Hon
Madeleine King gets it and she is a huge supporter for the industry in Western Australia.
As an advocate in the federal cabinet, she is a champion. From that
perspective, we are very confident that the
federal government is aware of any concerns that might exist within Western Australia .
Certainly, the recent challenges in the courts and the decisions by those
courts on further stages for Scarborough are
issues that we expect the federal government to take on board. We have made
those views known to it. We will continue to make sure that we work with
great champions of the industry like Madeleine King and great leaders of the
industry like Meg O'Neill so that Western Australians continue to
benefit from great gas policies.
