(a) The draft Dog Amendment Bill 2007 is considered to be the most comprehensive review of the Act and associated Regulations since 1982-83. As such, extensive stakeholder consultation was required throughout each stage of the review.
(b) I anticipate that a Bill to amend the Act will be introduced into Parliament before the end of the year.
