Mr. Graham questions the Premier regarding a potential conflict between the Premier's stance on the Gorgon project rent tax distribution and that of a Labor candidate who suggested direct allocation to the Pilbara region. The Premier clarifies the fund's purpose is for infrastructure projects across WA, benefiting all Western Australians, including those in the Pilbara.

I ask a supplementary question. Given the Premier’s answer, I understand that he does not agree with Labor’s federal Kalgoorlie candidate, Hon Tom Stephens, who said on ABC North West radio at 7.30 this morning that rent tax from the Gorgon project should be given directly to the Pilbara? This is a Western Australian fund that will be used to create infrastructure for projects all over Western Australia. Our view is that it will create jobs and opportunities for Western Australians, particularly Western Australians in the Pilbara. The fund is for all Western Australians.
