Minister for Corrective Services:
I refer to question without notice
1365 of Tuesday, 5 November 2024, in relation to the facility to replace unit
18, Casuarina Prison. Although the total cost for the new facility is yet to be
confirmed, will the minister confirm that it will be well in excess of $100 million,
as he has stated on multiple occasions during the announcement of the facility
on 26 September 2024; and, if not, why not?
