(2) This is currently a commercial matter for the residents and the park home operator, it is likely to vary between park home operators. The Government is seeking advice as to what measures may be possible to remedy the situation. (3) The Government does not have full information and the charges appear to vary from park to park from the uniform tariff rate to over 30 cents per k/wh. (4) The Government has been presented with some evidence that some residents in caravan parks in WA pay more than the residential uniform tariff. The A1 standard residential tariff is 13.94 cents k/Wh plus a daily supply charge of 25.57 cents or 19.86 cents (additional residence). The average cost per kWh will vary and depends on an individual's daily consumption level. (5) The lack of regulation enables the differences in price which in turn at present are commercial decisions by the park owners.
