1271. Hon KATE DOUST to the Attorney General
representing the Minister for Finance:
I refer to the announcement today of 1 500 public servants moving to new
offices in Fremantle in 2020.
(1) What is the breakdown of public servants from each of the three
government departments?
(2) What is the current location of these
public servants, and are these locations are owned or leased by government?
(3) Where leased, what are the current
tenancy arrangements of these office buildings, including size of the office
lease, and when will these leases be expiring?
(4) What is the price per square metre being paid as part of the new
agreement in Fremantle?

On behalf of the Minister for Finance, I thank the honourable member for
some notice of this question.
(1) Almost 1 500 public servants will
relocate. This includes 850 from the Housing Authority, 450 from the Department
of Corrective Services and 186 from the Department of Transport.
(2)–(3) I seek leave table the answer provided by the Minister
for Finance.

(4) The agreed commencing rental is $456.50
per square metre per annum with a one-off lease incentive of $1 950 per square
metre.
