I thank the member for some notice of this question. The Director of Liquor Licensing has advised that he will rely on a range of strategies to determine the effectiveness of the restrictions imposed on the licence of the Fitzroy inn hotel, which inter alia will include indicators provided by the Western Australia Police in regard to the incidence of alcohol-related crime in the Fitzroy valley and by the Drug and Alcohol Office in regard to the rates of and trends in alcohol-related hospital presentations and admissions.
