DUST EMISSIONS — GERALDTON PORT
513. Hon COLIN de GRUSSA to the Leader of the House
representing the Minister for Ports:
I refer to recent concerns raised
by the Geraldton community regarding dust emissions from the port of Geraldton.
(1) Have there
been any breaches by the Mid West Ports Authority of its licences or works
approvals issued under the Environmental
Protection Act 1986 for the financial years 2020–21, 2021–22 and
2022–23, to date?
(2) If yes, please table a list of the breaches.

(1)–(2) In
2020–21 there were eight incidents, in 2021–22 there were two
incidents and in the 2022–23 year to date there have been three
incidents.
