(1) Has the Minister received written or oral representations from local government about resources required for local authorities to assess fuel loads and or to enforce local government laws concerning fuel load on private land, and if so, when, and by whom?
(2) Has there been any assessment by the Department for Local Government on the additional resources required by local governments to comply with the recommendations of the Keelty inquiry into the Kelmscott Roleystone fires, and if so, what is that assessment?

(1) No.
(2) No. The Western Australian Local Government Association has been working collaboratively with relevant State Government agencies on the Bushfire Review Implementation Group and the other working groups that are responding to the recommendations of the Keelty Report.  This will enable the Government to identify how local governments can be supported and assisted in carrying out their demanding role in bushfire mitigation and recovery.
