I refer to recent media reports that City of Swan councillor Andrew Kiely has sought the Minister’s comprehensive legal opinion clearing the council of wrongdoing in relation to the Midland Oval development and Local Government Act 1995 and ask: (a) Has
the Minister or his department received a formal request from Councillor Kiely: (i) If
yes, when was the request received; (b) Will
the Minister provide the legal opinion to Councillor Kiely and if yes, when: (i) If
not, why not; and (c) Will
the Minister table the legal opinion: (i) If
