(1) Did the Premier issue a media statement on 4 July 2000 concerning the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre?
(2) In that statement did the Premier say that up to 5000 jobs would be created during the construction and more than 3000 new permanent fulltime and part time jobs will be created once the centre is operational?
(3) Has the Premier/Government been provided with a formal analysis to show the number of new permanent fulltime and part time jobs that will be created?
(4) If not, what information has been provided to the Government to show that that number of jobs will be created?
(5) Is that information publicly available?
(6) If not, why not?
(7) Did the Premier say in the media statement that 'the preferred provider will build the $310 million Perth convention centre (PCEC)?'
(8) Does the $310 million include the cost of the land?
(9) If so, what is the value of the land included in the $310 million figure?
(10) If not, why not?
(11) What companies/organisations will meet the cost of the rest of the construction?
(12) How much will be met by each company/organisation?
(13) How will each of these companies/organisations recoup their investment?
(14) Will the convention centre have provision for retail outlets?
