[1] Operating Grants are allocated as a base line amount to each Local Government (LG). The method in which the LG distributes the allocation amongst their BFBs is a function of the LG’s administrative and management responsibility. Such decisions are not influenced by the Department of Fire and Emergency Services.
*(a) - (e) The above figures relate to grant allocations for 2017/18. As actual operating grant expenditure details are yet to be received, this is unable to be reported at this time.
The total amount of Operating and Capital Grants to these Local Governments for their BFBs is $2,009,080.00. Please note this is not the only funding a local Government receives to support Emergency Services in their local area.
