As at 30 June 2019, for each agency/department within the Minister's portfolio can the Minister please provide in tabular form, the total dollar value of accrued annual leave balances and the number of staff to whom those balances apply for leave balances of the following periods: (a) 4 weeks or less; (b) 4 to 5 weeks; (c) 5 to 6 weeks; (d) 6 to 7 weeks; (e) 7 to 8 weeks; and (f) more than 8 weeks?

DFES Leave Management Policy has been recently updated to incorporate the requirements of the Public Sector Labour Relations Management of Accrued Leave in the Public Sector Policy Statement (Policy) issued in March 2018.
The Department of Fire and Emergency Services Fleet and Equipment Services Enterprise Bargaining Agreement 2018 is exempt from the Policy requirement for long service leave to be cleared within two years of being accrued.
The Office of the Inspector of Custodial Services advises:
