SCHOOLS
— CHILDREN WITH HARMFUL SEXUAL BEHAVIOURS
1233. Hon NICK GOIRAN to the Leader of the House representing
the Minister for Education:
I refer to the minister's
answer to question without notice 946, which advised the house that as at 8 August
2023, four alleged or convicted offenders were attending the same public school
as their victims.
(1) As at the start of term 4, are
any of these four offenders still at the same school as their victims?
(2) If yes to (1), for how many
terms has this now been the case?
(3) What is the
current total number of alleged or convicted offenders who are attending the
same public school as their victims?
(4) For the calendar year to date, how many police
notifications has the department received under the protocol to manage
safety arrangements for school students?
(5) Further to (4), in how many
instances has the student-victim moved schools away from their attacker?
