The contract in question refers to the community perceptions survey for the Timber Industry Development Plan. The objectives of the survey were to: • examine the community knowledge of forest harvesting, timber use and products and their satisfaction towards forest health; • assess the understanding and support of the community for forest management strategies across the plantation and native forest industries; and • assess the level of recall and awareness of the Forest Products Commission.
