The highest priority capital improvement projects for country health services are currently underway or in the planning phase. A consultative Review of Country Health Services commenced this week and will make recommendations for future directions in developing service models and systems for the country. The Review will report in July. In the mean time, new submissions for capital funding for facility enhancements will be considered in context with the Review Recommendations when they are to hand.
