WESTPORT — BUSINESS CASE
1480. Hon TJORN SIBMA to the Leader of the House representing
the Minister for Ports:
Considering the government's
Westport announcement on Monday, I refer to costly port inefficiency and the
need to alleviate bottlenecks in the immediate term.
(1) When will the
Fremantle Port Authority complete its business case for a new bulk jetty in
Kwinana and other associated works?
(2) Will the
state government be in a position to make a substantive funding announcement
prior to the prorogation of Parliament?

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
(1)–(2) The
Fremantle Port Authority continues to actively develop a business case for the
expansion of the Kwinana bulk jetty. Any associated funding will be considered
in due course as part of the budget process.
