I refer to the removal of Condition 7 of Ministerial Statement 627 in relation to the Koolyanobbing Iron Ore Expansion, Windarling Range and Mt Jackson, Shire of Yilgarn, and I ask —
(1) Did the Environmental Protection Authority report 1405 to the Minister state that 'Cliffs advised that it had consulted with the Consultative Reference Group regarding the LGFPP, but not specifically on the alteration or deletion of Condition 7'?
(2) Did the Minister for Environment ask why this specific consultation had not taken place?
(3) If no to (2), why not?
(4) If yes to (2), what was the answer?
(5) Did the Minister request specific input on the alteration or deletion of Condition 7 from the Consultative Reference Group, prior to approving the removal of the Geological Features Protection Plan?
(6) If no to (5), why not?

(1) Yes. The Environmental Protection Authority's (EPA) Report 1405 also states that Cliffs Asia Pacific had discussed the development of the Windarling Range W1 deposit at meetings of the Consultative Reference Group for the previous three years.
(2)-(6) The Minister for Environment carefully considered the EPA's advice, which included consideration of Cliffs's discussions with the Consultative Reference Group and advice from the Department of Environment and Conservation.
