Relevant information was included in the Department’s Incoming Government Briefing documents.
The Premier has visited the Office of State Security and Emergency Coordination, Department of the Premier and Cabinet, and has been provided with an overview of the support from the Department in the event of a terrorist act, which would include a cyber-terrorism act.
A confidential briefing of Cabinet on matters of national security has also occurred.
Additionally on 9 June 2017, COAG was briefed on, and discussed, national security issues, including cyber security.
