(1) The State Government is continuing its discussions with the Australian Infrastructure Fund to secure funding for a range of State projects. These discussions are conducted on a project by project basis. The amount of funding to be awarded to the State for these projects is the subject of these further negotiations.
(2) The State Government will continue to negotiate with the Australian Government for funding through a range of funding channels. Australian Government funding is also sought at an agency level from project or portfolio specific funding programs.
(3) As published in the 2010-11 State Budget mid-year review, the State's four year infrastructure program will see $26.7 billion invested to 2013-14.
(4) Discussions and negotiations with the Australian Government on funding issues is part of the normal business of Government, and as such this priority action has already commenced.
