(a) As at 19 June 2003 $3,427,431 comprised of:
· $1,500,000 to the Water and Rivers Commission for grants under the Farm Water Grants Scheme
· $1,747,231 for direct farmer grants under the Dry Season 2002 Assistance Scheme
· $72,272 for grants to Rural Counselling Services
· $107,928 for administration costs
In addition $1.6m has been reserved for new Exceptional Circumstances declarations that may be made.
