minister representing the Minister for Housing:
I refer to the Minister for Housing's answer to
question without notice 852 asked on 26 November 2013 —
(1) Has the
assessment by the department's Aboriginal affairs coordinating
committee into the outcomes and lessons learned from the Kalgoorlie–Boulder
short-stay Indigenous visitor accommodation facility been completed?
(2) If no to (1), when will it be
completed?
(3) If yes to (1) —
(a) What was the outcome of that
assessment?
(b) Will the minister table a copy of
the assessment?
(4) If no to (3)(b), why not?

The Department of Housing advises that the Kalgoorlie–Boulder
Aboriginal short-stay accommodation facility opened in November 2012 and the
Derby facility will open on 4 October 2014. An assessment will be conducted
within 12 months.
