No targets have been set in each of the areas by the recently established Department of Training and Workforce Development. These targets are developed as part of an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Management Plan, which agencies are required to prepare and implement in accordance with the
Equal Opportunity Act 1984
. Since the Department was established on 31 October 2009, the Office of Equal Employment Opportunity has indicated that the Department needs to provide an EEO Management Plan by 31 December 2010 to meet its legislative obligations.
