I refer to the ‘Report on Parliamentary Visit to the United States of America’ tabled in Parliament by Mark McGowan MLA. Under ‘Recommendations,’ the report states that ‘Investigations need to take place in relation to ensuring that the AMC is able to meet the needs of the USN in relation to things such as security, electricity, sewerage and water. It is important that the AMC be capable of handling USN ships with ease whenever they may arrive.’ -
(1) Have such investigations taken place?
(2) If no to (1), why not?
(3) If yes to (1), who undertook/is undertaking these investigations?
(4) If yes to (1), can the Premier state the nature of these investigations?
(5) If yes to (1), will the Premier table any reports or preliminary reports arising from these investigations thus far?
(6) If no to (5), why not?
