(a) The result of the investigation was as follows: Charges 6 Complaints withdrawn by complainant 9 Insufficient evidence 13 (b) The Director raised the issue of the intoxication levels of patrons attending the Lord Forrest Hotel (Area 1). He expressed the opinion that patrons attending the nightclub later in the evening were obtaining liquor from hotels earlier in the night and that all stakeholders had some responsibility for the general problems being experienced. The Director recommended that regular meetings be held between all the licensed premises and that agreement should be made to restrict the sale of drinks that are served in non-standard measures (e.g. shooters).
