GOVERNMENT
REGIONAL OFFICERS' HOUSING — NULLAGINE
1184. Hon STEPHEN DAWSON to the
Minister for Housing:
I refer to the Government Regional Officers' Housing
scheme.
(1) How many GROH houses are situated in Nullagine and how
many are currently empty?
(2) Has the department recently sold houses in Nullagine;
and, if so, for how much?
(3) Which agency was responsible for the sales and how were
the houses advertised?
(4) Is the
minister aware that the Nullagine community resource centre is at risk of closure
as a result of its coordinator's lease of a GROH house ceasing with one
month's notice?

question.

(2) One dwelling was sold for $60 000 in September 2015.
(3) The
property was sold by First National Real Estate Hedland, and the agent was
contacted directly by an interested purchaser shortly after listing.
(4) Yes. The Department of Housing is seeking alternative
options for the CRC.
