I refer to the Corruption and Crime Commission Hearings of March 14 2005 when the former Minister for Racing and Gaming’s Chief of Staff, Graham Burkett, said ‘the only thing that I know about was the Burswood dealings and the Packer dealings and everyone was sworn to absolute secrecy, and I’ve certainly played the share market, and I don’t know that any of the staff would have’, and ask -
(1) Will the Minister advise whom, if any, of the former Minister’s staff (including the former Chief of Staff) had PBL shares?
(2) If yes to (2) above, please detail for each staff member -
(a) when were those shares purchased;
(b) how many shares were purchased;
(c) were those shares sold; and
(d) if so, when were those shares sold?
(3) Have any of the former Minister’s former staff being employed in other Ministerial offices?
(4) If yes to (3) above, -
(a) which officers are still employed in Ministerial offices; and
(b) what are their names and levels?
