I refer to Table 1 from the research paper by Per Christensen and Ian Abbott titled ‘
Impact of fire in the eucalypt forest ecosystem of southern Western Australia: a critical review
’ and published in Australian Forestry, 1989, 52 (2), 103-121, and ask -
(1) Of the 42 areas of forest and woodland listed in Table 1 -
(a) how many areas remain unburnt; and
(b) which areas remain unburnt?
(2) Of the 42 areas of forest and woodland listed in Table 1 -
(a) what areas have been burnt since 1989;
(b) was the fire in each area -
(i) a planned prescribed burn; or
(ii) an escape from a prescribed burn; and
(c) if no to (a) and (b) for a particular area, what was the cause of the fire?
(3) Of the 10 listed as numbers 33 to 42 -
(a) for each area, when was the area last burnt;
(b) which areas, by year and season, are planned to be included on a prescribed fire plan within the next three years;
(c) which areas are included on a current prescribed fire plan; and
(d) for each area, included on a current prescribed fire plan, what is the season and year that the prescribed burn is intended to be conducted?
