YANCHEP RAIL EXTENSION — UNEXPLODED ORDNANCE
1161. Hon BEN DAWKINS to the minister representing the
Minister for Transport:
I refer to the development of the
Yanchep rail station site, and to the Western Australian Planning Commission's Planning bulletin 3/2017: Notifications on titles (memorials) .
(1) Is the
minister satisfied that the Yanchep Metronet station site has been surveyed and
properly scanned for unexploded ordnance, or UXO?
(2) If yes to
(1), what were the parameters given to the investigative survey contractors
conducting the survey with respect to the depth and width, including offset?
(3) If yes to
(1), why has the memorial on the title for the site, G407802 MV, not been
modified to reflect that the site has been cleared of UXO?
(4) Who is the
UXO officer within the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage responsible
for liaison with the Department of Fire and Emergency Services and Landgate?
